Library Closed
Argh, testing! Sorry guys. There will be an AP test in the library on Wednesday, and then CST testing from Thursday till Tuesday means the library will have to be closed. We will still be open before and after school, and we will waive any late fees during that time. Sorry for the inconvenience, but do great on your testing!

HOT OFF THE PRESS
We've gotten in tons of new books in the past month and have more on the way. It's almost impossible to keep up with all the new sequels, but we're trying! Also, feel free to donate your personal copies after you finish with them (with parent permission of course!). Here's a peek at some brand new books that just came in today and some series suggestions.
Remember to check the Reading Lists tab on the library website for more suggestions.

Thank you Misters McLaughlin and Mr. Kobielusz
Last week we kicked off Out Loud in the Library with poetry recitations by Mr. McLaughlin. They were all great, but the Irish accent he added to the last poem made it the favorite!
Yesterday Mr. Kobielusz read from Monster: Autobiography of an LA Gang Member to a crowd of over 50 students! The reading was electric and Mr. Kobielusz's own experiences working in juvenile detention centers made an already too real story an even more authentic experience.
Thank you to our guest readers and audience! Our next event will be after winter break, so keep posted for updates. Don't miss out on that extra credit just for attending!

Out Loud In The Library--11/29
Please join us during lunch on Thursday, Nov. 29th, for a poetry reading by Mr. McLaughlin. Feel free to bring your lunch, but the doors close when the reading begins--10 minutes into lunch. You will be given an attendance verification to give to a teacher for extra credit (teacher's choice).
